So the New England Patriots lost the Super Bowl, and being the middle of Giants country does not make that easier on a NE fan.
But you know, it was not a bad season for the Pats by ANY stretch of the imagination. They had an undefeated regular season and there were some records broken. They got TO the Super Bowl and it was a close game. It was a good season. Just not the 19-0 that had been hyped for, and aside from hearing drunk people screaming outside, my shoulder hurting, and both Tori and I being the room together and doing our own respective yelling at the TV when our teams were doing well or not-so-well, made the loss that much more difficult for the fans (and probably the team).
Besides, the Red Sox start spring training soon and the Celtics are doing really well this season.
And the writer's strike might be ending soon.
