[ Normally, he'd smile, and say everything is fine, but Iruka would see right through that, so Kakashi doesn't pull up a smile in front of him and hide in the shadow of its curve.
His expression is a little uncertain, like the look in his eyes. ]
Don't worry.
[ He tries to reassure him anyway. ]
I'm just... not sure if I should take Madara-sama's invitation.
[He does not lie about that and about manners. But he takes Kakashi and holds him close, not liking the uncertain look in his eyes; it is painful to see that expression. He speaks very quietly.]
You don't have to go. We don't have to go if you don't want to, if you'd prefer it to be a private affair. But ... it is his family. He was your friend, perhaps even a brother wasn't he?
[He pulls back after a while and cups his cheek with a palm. He feels bad for having to give such news to him, for having to bring up memories that are still painful for him. But he says nothing else and instead, he kisses his chin and then his lower lip. Just a light press, nothing more.]
[ He doesn't respond verbally, because he doesn't need to.
His lips are gentle and undemanding against Iruka's, and he deepens it with a soft swipe of tongue.
Sometimes he's not sure if he deserves this. To be happy like this, and content, when Obito will never have anything like this. And he wonders what it is that the boy who lives on his left eye sees.

[It's a long kiss and Iruka does not pull away and instead, he guides Kakashi backwards, towards the window frame. He responds, his tight hold on his lover and husband only loosening when he is sure Kakashi is leaning against something solid.
He smiles at him, breathing deep and slow, caressing his cheek before sliding down to his knees. When Kakashi is quiet, Iruka can't keep still. Not this kind of quiet, when he knows that this is something he cannot do anything about.
But for a moment, he can take his mind off things. Even if it's just for a moment.
Down the zipper goes and in to his mouth Kakashi goes; Iruka is quiet here, as he works his tongue and lips, slow, like their mood. Gentle, because he wants to soothe, not tease.
And he looks up briefly and takes in the sight his lover makes with the sun bright against his back. He thinks he looks beautiful, golden lines enveloping him. He thinks the man is blessed.

[ The slightest stitch between his brows form. ]

Mm.
[ Hums softly. Noncommittal. Still isn't sure. Probably won't decide quickly, either. ]
