[ Kakashi had expected that Itachi would comment, but it's still uncomfortable, still awkward, to have to face him like this. He's not sure what Itachi's thinking, and it's impossible to read his face -- there's two masks between them now, and Kakashi's not sure he likes that.
He's also not sure he likes the fact that Itachi knows this much about him. Knows that he's willing to relinquish all control.
Wonders if he's figured out just who he gave that control to. ]
If there were a way to do it, I think we would've figured it out by now.

But now Kakashi has chosen to address it and Itachi's not-so-subtle attempt to leave the conversation open to diversion has failed.]
It is not something that I am not aware of. Your...sexual exploits are discreet, but I have known you long enough to know they exist and they are neither few nor large in number.

[ Kakashi cants his head slightly at that, perhaps a touch surprised that Itachi would even be aware of his... sexual exploits. It'd been nine years since then -- nine years that'd gone by in too fast a blink.
[Itachi knows it is just a dream, as it is what he repeats to himself to calm the strange tension that causes his fingers to twitch and the muscle in his shoulders to tighten.]
That means it is not important and does not need to be discussed any further.
[Hopefully, Kakashi will get the message and let it go. Itachi does not want to consider what his own feelings about this are and Kakashi's pressing will only make that impossible.]
