I know who I want to take me home

the years go by...year after year...and each year, it seems as if nothing changes

then one day. nothing's the same. and things continue to change day-by-day, week-by-week.

and while i miss the good old days...

i am still glad

because its when it appears that life doesnt change that we are unhappy. that we want something more. that we dont know what we can really have and enjoy.

change is good

even when it seems it isnt - the good is born from the bad:
"every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end"
from the upsetting, disappointing, and agonizing
comes the beautiful, joyful, lovely.

and happiness is good...right?
i think so
