Ok, so, Spencer (the guy playing Benny) and I were only called to rehearse 'til 5:15 yesterday, but we ended up staying 'til 7:30 anyway. We rehearsed our number, "Guys and Dolls," with the director, and she gave us a bunch of blocking, but left out a huge section that she was gonna get to some other day at a rehearsal. Well, Spencer and I ended up going in the other room to block it ourselves (just because we were bored, and we want this number to kick ass). We waited 'til about 7 (when the director was done blocking another scene), and we showed it to her. She LOVED it. Of course, she had a few little notes, but she was very happy that we went and tried to do something ourselves with the number...
I think the number is gonna rock. It's a great number anyway, upbeat and stuff. It's funny... :)
In other Matthew news, I got 2 1/2 hours of sleep last night because I was working on a damn childrens book for creative writing. I hate being a procrastinator. Now I'm exhausted. And also, something weird happened with my alarm clock THIS morning, and it didn't go off. My mom woke me up 10 minutes before I had to get out the door. I hate waking up in a hurry... It always starts me off in a bad mood, and my day always sucks after that. But, luckily, everyone in psychology is out on a field trip today, so all my classes are empty, and we're doing nothing. Like this class, for example... I'm in Mrs. Graham's closet (she has a closet with three computers in it) and I'm writing this journal entry...
Sorry... This entry was not very funny and random like my entries usually are. oh fuckin' well...
