Shiny!
A meme I'm shamelessly stealing from snickfic because it's shiny. The rules are simple: you quote the first lines of your 21 most recent fics.
Turns out I tend to use short, simple sentences as openers, and also I like for them to make a separate paragraph. Not really sure why, it just feels like good rhythm to ease into a story. A quick plunge right in. I don't like elaborate introductions.
FYI, the oldest of those stories is from December, which probably says something about me.
1. Elena takes a deep breath and starts unbuttoning Damon's shirt.
2. Damon is good at keeping secrets.
3. He's good at this.
4. It was close.
5. When Bonnie thinks back to their last few years in Mystic Falls, she doesn't actually remember much.
6. Whoever planned Alaric's life was drunk.
7. Tatia always had vivid dreams.
8. After Jeremy is safely tucked into his sleeping bag and Bonnie is done tying Shane to the nearest tree, Elena drags Damon to her tent as soon as she can.
9. Elena doesn't feel a thing.
10. Elena feels calm.
11. Damon is in a honeymoon phase now, and Elena lets him enjoy it.
12. The boat ride is hell.
13. Damon can feel Elena's eyes follow him around the room.
14. Elena looks good with a knife, even though it's not something either of them would ever mention.
15. Rose knows she's going to die.
16. Elena likes it on top.
17. Every morning Elena sits in front of her vanity and focuses solely on brushing her hair.
