I don't really know what to say? There were some things that I loved, and there were some things that were seriously problematic. But, to be completely honest with you, I don't have the energy to get mad about the problematic writing. Everyone's performance was so damn good I just want to sit back and shallowly enjoy.
Idk, there were some narrative choices I genuinely enjoyed, but I don't feel like having a heated fandom discussion about them. So basically I'm writing this post to tell you that I'm sitting this one out. Maybe being worried about Elena's agency finally wore me down, maybe it's rl stress taking it's toll, whatever.
