28 Days of Wrong!Shipping: Day One
Hello, bandwagon! Did you miss me?
For the record: I don't actually ship some of those ships. Because, let's face it, I ship, like, five ships, and not all of them at the same time. I'm just gonna talk about ships that gave me some thoughts at one point or another, and somehow I decided those thoughts were awfully interesting.
Also: to avoid my typical “OOOOH, SHINY!” issues that make me fail at blogging challenges, I've actually picked most ships and written some of the answers before posting the first one. Which is why there's only one paragraph per ship. There's only so much rambling a girl can produce, you know.

Day 1: The ship you don't want to be endgame.
TVD, Damon/Rose
Because, lol, not that kind of relationship at all. It has nothing to do with endgames, true love, romance, anything like that. Damon/Rose is all about companionship. When they first hook up, it's simply comfort sex (as in: Damon is comforting himself and Rose is comforting herself), then they grow to be friends. My favorite thing about them is that they have a functional, healthy, LOVELESS relationship. They're both disillusioned and they don't try to make this relationship into something that it isn't. They're friends. Friendships are important. Sometimes love isn't necessary.
