Elena doesn't actually remember if Bonnie wore a yellow shirt that night, but it makes her feel better to think she did.

Sniff. This is so Elena, struggling to hold onto back when things were the way they were "supposed" to be. Wishing she'd paid more attention to her friends than she did.

That glimpse of Elena, Caroline and Bonnie in the future give me hope, though it's such a small, isolated scene.

I love the idea of them playing with Caroline’s hair and Bonnie getting it wrong, because I can believe that-with my curls, I have no idea how to handle straight-haired people’s hair. AND CAROLINE STICKING HER HAIR IN THE SHOWER HAHAHA.
