The Vampire Diaries 3x09
I'm writing a comment!ficathon fic, but I keep thinking about this post, and it's distracting me, so I'd better just write it now.
WARNING: I'm in this state of mind in which I find everything hilarious. Like, literary everything.
Everybody's already written all the smart things I wanted to write, but there is one more aspect that TOTALLY should be discussed. Let's talk about:
First of all, Stefan. Right now, he's just travelling all over States with a bunch of caskets. Klaus had minions to handle his family coffins, but Stefan is alone and running with three very dead Originals. So, basically, everybody is talking about how Stefan has his free will back, and about the switch and everything, and all I can think about is Stefan going all "FML, I have three corpses here, and I'm on the run, how do I even check into a motel or something? This sounded like SUCH A GOOD IDEA when Katherine was talking about it...". A corpse can be such a nuissance!
At the same time Klaus has a parallel FML moment, because he doesn't feel safe when he doesn't have all his coffins.
Damon and Elena are going to be Super Bored. They've been running like crazy for months, fighting Katherine, then saving Elena from the Originals, then saving Damon after the werewolf bite, then looking for Stefan, then saving Stefan... THEY ALWAYS HAD A DIABOLICAL PLAN GOING ON! And now they'll all be, like: "Ok, now we have to... em? Play Scrabble? Wash all the rugs? Hey, there's a thought, let's have a Buffy marathon!".
(Yes, I know, Klaus is probably going to try to Kill Them All, but it should take him a couple of days to come up with a plan, and until that Elena and Damon should have some Awkward Yet Hilarious Boredom Moments.)
Also, Tyler's mom gets home, and Tyler goes: "Well, about that party...", and Carol goes: "WHAT PARTY???".
I guess I just need hiatus crack fics. I'm in the mood, I see absurd everywhere.
