Alaric in research mode (and his research mode was just perfect, that's exactly how a real historian would've done it!!!). Damon and Elena behaving like an old married couple (THANK GOD NO WEIRD WIBE! I loved how FRIENDLY everything was between them!). THE SALVATORE BROTHERS!!! I know, there are some things I should be critical about, but sorry, not today. Today my brain is clouded by Alaric & the Salvatores flail. This was the best episode of the bloody season.
