back from texas
OK so it has been a long weekend...i love flying on planes but not when everything gets delayed and shit and it happened on the way tehre and DEFF happened on teh way back.
so we fly to cincinatti (sp) that was cool and flying from there to houston was fine until...it came time to land. So it is all stormy and shit on the north side of houston...where the airport was where we were going to land so we had to move to another airport and then we had to drive to houston...just to pick up a rental car and drive another two hours...it wasn't that bad..it was just really bad storms.
Sat, sun, mon were fine fun days...it wasn't that like sunny hot you would expect which i was hopping for... i emna it was hot but not really sunny it was rainy and cloudy on Mon and tues. I got a lil sun but not as much as i wnated...well it appears to me that i only got a little i might have gotten pretty tan but i don't think so :( BUT i did buy a shirt that says everything is bigger in texas! and i bought other shiz too...but iwas excited bout the shirt
well then tues we wake up at 5 30 AM to drive to the airport which is 2 hours away...and our flight was at 10... i don't thibnk we had to wake up that early. so we get there at round at and sit in teh sirport from 8-10 35 which is when our flight is supposed to leave. well we borad the plane and bout 2 secs latter...someone comes on teh intercome and tells us that a probe is broken and if we were to take off basically it would go cold and everything would stop workin then we would be going down. so at elats they saved our lives but we had to wait 2 hours for it to get fixed.
At this time teh waether is fine...but within 30mins to and hour it starts pouring. and doesn't stop.. so now everything is delayed. And the next cincinatti flight the one at 245 has not evened taken off from tehre because of teh weathe rin houston...we sat in an airport for 9 hours. Then when we finally did board at 5:30 we didn't take off till 6:55...we sat in a plane for over an hour. And the onl;y flight to champaign takes off at 9:10PM and we miss it. We land in cincinatti at 10 ish and then we have to go talk to people about our flights and we have to get a hotel...BUT we can't get our luggage...so we have our outfit that we are wearing and our purses.
luckly i had a toothbrush and toothpaste in my purse. :)
but we had no clean clothes aka no clean underware. but we sleep in a nice ass hotel. and at least our flight wasn't real eraly.
PROBLEM --with the original flights i was able to make in time for vollyeball...haha yeah that didn't happen...so i called elly and told her...i wanna know how they did.
so this morning we got up put on the clothes we had on yesterday... :( and went to teh airport. Now i am home...it took 2 days to get home...and that is by plane.. god that part of the trip sucked. i really wish i wouldn't hjave missed vball.

did you know it was hotter here than it was in texas...and sunnier...but i think texas wins for humidity
