So...I haven't talked to you in a while. You have my number. And my screen name. Put in some effort. You know who you are. Jerk.

All right, so, THANKSGIVING WAS GREAT! All right, I'll admit it, there were a few too many people in my house (whose fault is that but my mother's?), and a tad too much noise for my comfort, but all in all it was amazing to see my family again. My cousins are all so big now! I'm the oldest out of all 13 of us, so in some ways it was way fun, but in others it was way tedious. And then myuncles, as crazy and as alcohol-loving as ever. seriously, soooo much tequila was consumed in my house this week. If I ever wondered where I got my tolerance to alcohol, especially tequila (I didn't ever wonder, I knew), all I have to do is look at them. One night my mom went to bed early and my dad was not feeling well and they insisted on a drinking representative from each family, and I was next in line, so they made me drink with them. It was fun, but seriously, I mean, MAN, they pound it down like...woah. But I have become a fan of this tequila called Tarantula Tequila. It's blue and sweet (like green tea with a kick) and is excellent when followed by 1800 gold. It's lovely. Hahaha.

I also got to see a lot of my old friends. I had so much fun at Clue and at Denny's and ghost hunting and the link, and hanging out with people at my house and talking with my crazy uncle and blaming each other for Cabo. We really must go back. And then I got to go out with people (ahhh, our crazy starbucks antics) and talking to people I haven't talked to in a while (see, I do value you for your conversation, Cameron). All in all, goooooooood trip.

Lastly I got to escape the cold harsh reality that is the Midwest and spend some time ina WARM climate. We had Thanksgiving outside, it was so nice in Southern California. Ahhh, I love my home. Hahaha, I already can't wait to go back for Christmas. If anyone here in Ohio would like to come along, it can DEFINITELY be arranged. Hahaha.

All right, and with that I will start on the only bad part of the whole vacation (well, the worst part): the flight back. We got to the airport in Bakersfield a little late (maybe 5 minutes late? I got there at 605am, and the plane left at 640) and I was the last ticketed passenger on my flight. BUt it didn't really make a difference, because the plane was delayed for twenty or thirty minutes. Now, I get on the flight and was in an exit row with no one next to me, so it was nice. I promptly fell asleep. I woke up and made friends with the nice guy sitting behind me. He was worried about missing his connection to go to military base in Colorado Springs. He was like, 20. Nice guy. We get to the first connection in Salt Lake City (he did miss his connection) and I walk through the airport calmly and get to my terminal and promptly board my plane which had already been boarding for a bit. That plane is then delayed for 45 minutes while the wings were de-iced (that was something new). I got into Atlanta (CRAZY ASS FLIGHT SCHEDULE) and literally sprinted through the airport and got to my gate as they were closing the jetway. I pleaded with the guy for a bit, who let me on. That plane was then delayed for de-icing as well, and we got to Columbus late, meaning I missed the shuttle to school that left at 6pm, which meant I had to wait until 8 pm to catch the next one. So I go to baggage claim and guess whose bags didn't make it to Columbus? THAT WOULD BE ME.

ARGH.

At least I got them back this morning.

So anyway, schedule fiasco for next semester, I'm getting it sorted out (no way in hell I'm taking an 830 class). And that's pretty much it.I'm gonna be busy with papers and such, but I am keeping my eyes on the sunset in the horizon. THREE WEEKS!
