Reading update I guess
Just finished reading what is quite possibly the best manga of '08. It's called Tokyo Zombie and while I'd like to write a nice, articulate write-up on it I have no choice but to describe it as fucking awesome. Think of a manga adaptation of "Shaun of the Dead" written by the guys behind Aqua Teen Hunger Force. A sample:
It involves wrestling, dick eating, eye gouging, murder cover ups, riots, people being forced to jump in a moon walk, and of course adorable dog companions. Anyway, you should run out in read it just because I say so.
Next up is Yuichi Yokoyama's "New Engineering". It looks like this:
Road trip to Chapel Hill tonight. Tomorrow I shall eat Breadmans with my sister and I will no longer need to worry about life because breakfast makes all that go away.
I'm convinced that when I do journal entries while at work that they will always come out boring and lifeless. This one being an example.
