(no subject)
I guess I missed the deadline on making "Favorites of '08" lists. I would probably have picked the newest album by Growing as my favorite of the year, my favorite movie (I THINK it came out this year, otherwise I guess it would be Wall-E or something) would be Mister Lonely, and favorite comic of the year would be Omega the Unknown (ongoing or miniseries) and Good-Bye by Yoshihiro Tatsumi (graphic novel). I would have probably put Bottomless Belly Button or Kramers Ergot 7 but money prevented me from doing anything like that.
Things I got done this year:
Let people get a look at my writing and I didn't kill myself as a result!
Went to Charleston for the first time where I met JB in the flesh.
Made new friends, thereby expanding my number of friends in Wilmington from 3-4 to 6-7.
Received an iphone. Okay, okay, I'll stop rubbing it in.
Got NETFLIX! Finally, a reason to keep living.
Came very close to making my book reading goal of 20 books this year. I believe Hannah read somewhere in the area of 47 books this year.
Things I will try to do this year:
Read 30 books this year.
Go through my writing, edit and expand the best bits and actually send it out.
Try to see at least one movie a week
Stop spending so much
Go on a nice trip that requires the use of a plane.
Try drawing my own minicomics. Maybe.
