Biggest surprise ever!
Last night I went to Lund for the weekly Spanish language exchange get-together (which was a blast as usual) and I feel like last week's stay in Madrid with my uni course helped to kick my Spanish back into action a little bit. Anyway, that's not the point.
The point is that I've been in complete rage over my computer (a tiny little Acer that was really just meant to be a travel laptop and was bought before Up with People) as of late. More than before, even. It began to totally flip out, refusing to do what I wanted it to and taking forever with it all, and I know this sounds like the stupidest worry ever but it made me desperate the other night when I had finally scheduled a Skype date with my boyfriend and my computer decides that nope, now's not the time for Skype!
And last night when I came home from Lund, my incredible parents had hid a brand new MacBook Pro under my duvet. I was speechless, and started to bawl like a little baby and felt like such a whiny kid for having complained about something as trivial as a computer. They said that they'd bought it for me cause I never ask for anything. Guilty conscience aside, I have to say, it is almost orgasmic to have a computer this fast - I've never had that in my entire life.
I feel like a complete noob, but I'm liking Mac so far!
