It's been a while, eh?
This week has been slightly insane. But good nonetheless.
Madrigal is on Tuesday, which is pretty scary.
It will be terrible but fun. I get to make a complete fool of myself.
Ended up seeing Rent again last night! It was magnifique, again. I love Collins.
Also, I need help from all of you wonderful people. I'm applying for a
position on the Birmingham Public Arts Board as a Student
Representative, but I need to have an essay. And I need you all to help
me revise it.
The arts have always been a vital element of my
daily life. From a young age, I was introduced to the many facets of
art, from paintings and sculptures to music and dance. I've always
admired the individual styles of every artist and enjoyed trying to
discover the underlying sentiment of each piece. Also, my appreciation
for art has branched past the bystander’s viewpoint; I’m actively
involved in many theatre and singing groups around the community, and I
hope to turn my interest into a career. My participation in art-related
activities has enriched my life beyond measure, and by serving on
Birmingham’s Public Arts Board, I hope that I can help enrich the lives
of others, however slightly, through the art that they see scattered
around the city.
Please help.
Thank you.
P.S. How is everyone? I haven't talked to so many of you in so long.
