The System is Down...The System is Down
Marching band comp yesterday...USSBA States....1st in Maryland!!! Ah, Raven's Stadium. What a great time. Second in the tri-state area (That's MD, PA and DE, right?)
The bus ride was awesome though....on the way up everyone got sugar high off Mellow Yellow and pixie stix...I had Lifesavers too. But I think a lot of us crashed before we performed, and then went back to normal while we actually performed. Oh well, if it got us and 82 point something or other...and then on the way back, Alysia, Louis, Jim, Kiesha, Trevor, Liz and I had the greatest beat party going...we did our own remixes to Thriller and a bunch of other songs and it was awesome...next pow wow is Friday before the football game and I'm providing the pixie stix. I'll be going to get some sleep now...peace out.
