(no subject)
i feel like asshole. ugggggg my info design project is almost done and then i can relax...and do more projects. but at least this will be done.
and i guess it didnt help that kayla and i went out last night to see art brut...and didnt even end up seeing art brut, because of the stupid trolley shutting down at 11 pm....but thats ok, because it was fun anyway. we started at the W hotel, to the bar on the roof of the third floor....here are some crappy pictures, because i used my crappy camera....it doesnt really give the bar justice, but its so cool.
the drinks were ridiculously overpriced, but it was good times swinging in the chairs.
since the casbah didnt open till 830, we headed over to princess pub and had some beers and fries. i didnt realize this but its really not that bad walking around downtown. the trolley makes it seem like such a huge place, but its really not. we walked back and forth from the casbah and little italy a couple times. actually...we've walked from shakespeare pub to old town before...we're walking champions.
after princess, we walked back over to the casbah, which was finally open...we got there around 930, and the first band had just started. i got a vodka tonic, which was VODKA and tonic. we had to leave as the second band was just starting, which sucked because we couldn't even see art brut...but im sure i'll see them. at least i can say i've been to the W and the casbah.
