let there be light!

woohoo thanksgiving- im innorth carolina.

something always tends to happen. 3 years ago, my brother went to the hospital for a fever. 2 years ago, my dad was so sick he didnt eat with us. last year, i was so sick i couldnt taste my food. well this year is actually funny. at about 9 (while i was in the shower) the electricity went off. and didnt come back on. so we were frying the turkey no problem, warmed everything else up on the grill. and we ate our thanksgiving meal. my grandpa said the prayer- "let there be light. amen" honestly, 3 minutes later the electricity came on. my brothers response? "the power of prayer" hysterical lol.

but yea i liked the electricity off. we playeed dominoes and looked at my grandmas old photo albums. that was pretty cool, she saved a bunch of the letters my great uncle wrote to her when he was in world war 2, and had pictures of her cousin who was married in casablanca during the war. yea and my grandma was miss dairy queen. lol.

so this was a pretty good thanksgiving.

everyone should lose their electricity and play dominos for 2 hours.

(o by the way, its 28 degrees outside.)
