Happy Mother's Day!
So, I broke down and went with Patrick last night to see Tom Crazy in Mission: Impossible 3. I know he's a nutjob and all, but he's still Tom Cruise. I can't help it. Anyway...the movie was actually not bad! Other than the fact that it was a little too lovey-dovey for a Mission: Impossible movie, it was good. Lots of shoot-'em up, blow-'em up action movie stuff (which we all know I love!).
For Mother's Day, my mom, brother, and I all went to a Tacoma Rainiers game, but we left during the bottom of the 7th inning because the game was taking for-EV-er. And now, I'm apparently retarded and I don't know how to apply sunscreen to my arms, because I'm soooooooooo sunburned! The funny thing is, I was wearing flip-flops to the game, and I was extra careful to make sure my feet were completely covered, but I didn't take as much care with my arms. Oh well...I'd much rather have burnt arms than burnt feet.
Um...I have tomorrow off, too! Two days in a row, can you believe that?! I get to see a friend of mine from high school who I haven't seen since the summer after my freshman year of college. She went to school at Cornell and hasn't been home again for two and a half years, so I'm was excited to see her!
I'm off to go put some aloe on my arms now, because they really hurt. To all you wonderful moms on here, Happy Mother's Day!!!
