Summer Samurai!
Awesome! I just found out that the Cinemateque (AGO's theatre) is having a series of samurai films playing throughout the summer in their, "Summer Samurai"!
I missed out completely on a similar series in January 2003, I believe that series was entirely devoted to Akira Kurosawa.
Well, I don't want to miss out this year, so I'm definitely looking to see as many as I can throughout the summer. I'll mostly be going to the Kurosawa films, but I would like to check out some of the other films showing in the series. I'll have to look up which ones are most interesting.

Throne of Blood - July, 8 @8:45 - I'm not going to make this one, as I'm seeeing the LOTR musical tomorrow! I've really been wanting to see this. Seeing it in a theatre for the first time would have been awesome!
Seven Samurai - July, 10 @8:45 - DEFINITELY have to go to this one! Home Run derby will just have to get PVR'd.
Sanjuro - July, 13 @6:30 - I'm might be able to make this one - it's one I haven't seen yet.
Yojimbo - July, 15 @8:30 - Really want to go to this one - Fun movie! Fistful of Dollars was based on this.
Hidden Fortress - Aug, 15 @8:00 - DEFINITE must go to see!
Rashomon - Aug, 17 @8:30 - DEFINITELY going to this one - one of my favourite films I've ever seen!
Pricing isn't too bad with a $40 membership. It will then either be $6 or $7.25.
If you've never seen any of these movies, you really should check them out!
