Such a fail
I'm such a LJ fail. It's been months since I've written anything on here, and I am very sorry. I do love you guys. But my brain is wrong, apparently.
Anywaaays, I'm back in Cambridge with the parents, and have been for about a fortnight. Not much has changed - my brother got a new bed, which was actually mildly annoying, cos I didn't get anything. At all. I mean, I know I'm nearly twenty, but still. It annoys me, for some reason.
Apart from that, I'm officially once again tesco's bitch. I did four night shifts (18.00 til 2.00), and now I've got a weeks worth of days to do. But iIt's been okay, really. I love all my little temp crew, and I've been there so long now they put me in charge of a little group of newbies, which does wonders for my ever-expanding ego.
The only real downside to tesco (Besides, you know, the work.) is that it forces me to hang around with Tesco Boy. To his credit, he hasn't done anything even slightly bad, all he's done is reminded me how annoyingly lovely/funny/pretty he is. But he's got a girlfriend these days, so I'm keeping my distance and feeling vaguely confused in the privacy of my till. I'm almost looking forward to getting back to Leeds and Blonde Irish, even if really I should give up on both of them and find myself a normal boy, without the drama.... But where's the fun in that?
I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas! Mine was good - we went down to London to see the family. I spilled a glass of white wine, and me and my cousin drank waaaay too much, just to keep the Uni spirit alive. And I got a new camera, and a new set of riding boots, both of which were needed. And then chocolate and money, also badly needed... Really the only downside was work the morning after... But even that wouldn't dampen my Christmas spirit, especially when my pissed Grandmother announced she was 'Just parking the turkey'.
Even now no'one has a clue what she meant. Bless her.
I've also been informed by my lovely Ali that I've been nominated for two awards in the CMVA's, which put me in a majorly good mood. Any votes appreciated! haha! Loser didn't fail to point out that one of them is an Arthur/Morgana vid, which is weirdly ironic... Meh. But still! How awesome! It's made me happy.. And speaking of vids, I've put too many up recently to post them all, so I'll just point you to the YouTube link at the top of this page. Browse at your leisure, my darlings. :P
I'm gonna have to shut up. Tonight I am attempting to revive my slowly dying social life, and plan on meeting people for too many drinks and dancing. :) I'll post more in this coming week - I swear on my xmas pressies.
Oh. And I have done no work for Uni. This'll need to be rectified before my exam... probably.
