eyes in the sky
so the past two weeks have been eventful! Eventful, to say the least. After reading a certain someone's composition I, feel like,
typing like this, all the time
but, it's so nauseating so,
nevermind.
:D Chronological order then! Last monday was Day 1 of career conference - me and Enting we emcees <3 WE TOTALLY PWNED EVERYONE. The talks were pretty good, I enjoyed the photojournalism one but I still think it's a terrible career, being in the media - being first to reach all these disaster zones yet not doing anything to help and things like that. It makes taking photos seem almost brutal. The keynote address was marvelous, the speakers complimented Enting and I! YAY AWESOME. Other talks were pretty good too - broadcast journalism was funny, don't remember what came after that and yeah. Second day of career conference began with an 'A' level syllabus talk by the Hwach VP of studies. He's an excellent speaker! Clear and concise and interesting and everything. I hope he's still the VP next year when we Cross Over. I've decided what I'm going to take but I won't disclose it - just hope I get the combi I want :D :D AND CUTE GUYS THAT COME WITH IT!

After that was GRACES! In a nutshell I loved GRACES, to be pretty honest. I mean it wasn't the most meaningful or interesting but everyone was so beautiful and showed really different sides of themselves and I think everyone else should appreciate that! It gave me a lot of post-GRACES stalk fodder hahahahahahahahaha :D OKAY! Nevermind. Malay extravaganza WAS LIKE A ROCK CONCERT HAHA I kept screaming at ah bean goh and omg people had really cool ethnic costumes! Ah bean goh is blue and green. Sort of like. A mossy ocean. Celine won cik mek molek! Malay (the language) freaks me out. But I ate with my hands and the malay guys were cute. The dance lesson was REALLY FUN! I think everyone loved it because the instructors were uber cool and funny and they taught us well. The malays are really steeped in custom! Okay bad sentence structure. But yeah the point is it was very different and in all the dances they have these delicate yet elaborate steps that looks terrific and lovely when you do them and the steps may seem simple but they're actually pretty hard to master! -wowed- haha yay :D that was the first night. after that we went back, HAD WORSHIP - great idea, Sherah :D and TRIED TO WATCH BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM and slept heeheheheeeee whoops. so we failed! stupid sound system in the room! The talks were all pretty boring, I tried to get free food from the Dining Etiquette one - in fact the only vaguely interesting talks were on the first day, Deportment and Dining Etiquette! Walking around in heels = fun hahaa secret cheap thrill. Nevermind! And we danced Genie in the aircon'd Begonia Ballroom place and people STARED AT US and we felt cool. yip + wig + vongst ftw! at night we took room photos. 1226 ftw! sherah tessa jingyi lynn JT me :D COMPLETE PWNAGEEEE. anyway yes.
that was day one! day two consisted of FORMAL DINNER - 400 of the most beautiful girls EVER in one marquee whoaaaa I'm surprised the roof didn't burn up because of how hot we were! Class parade was a roaring success, thanks to Sherah and Enting (And Jiaen???) :D Great job guys. Song choice was awesome and formation was awesome. YAY and LYNN AND I ARE RUNWAY BUDDIES and we were hot and people went WHOA :D :D EVERYONE SLEPT THROUGHOUT THE LOUSY POK TALKS and me wx wig jingyi yip were laughing over the In Bed thing HEEHEEE ESPECIALLY WIG AND WX I think they cracked up the most hahaha :D what cutiesss. The games were FUN and 413 is awesome and we broke records but didn't win but we still rock!!! <33 makeup course was boring, as usual everyone was a camhorse hahahahaha.

The last day was performance! We screwed up - to be pretty honest, but 413 is still DA BEST <333333 And we had fun and took class photos! Etc, etc. 414's performance was awesome and funky, I think we should all be rly grateful for their support - and reciprocate it if we get the chance!
Right that's it for GRACES. This past week has been fun too - monday Salvation Army (WITH Q), tuesday Salvation Army (I REARRANGED THE ENTIRE TOYS SECTION BY MYSELF) and then watched Alice in Wonderland with Q; despite mixed reviews I thought it was wonderful and met all my expectations! :D Wednesday Lions Befrienders with Jingyi Willa Venus Chloe and Enting! IT WAS FUN :D We had fun! Old people are cute and before ah bean reached LATE the rest of us hoboed at Queenstown MRT looking like druggies getting disapproving looks from middle-to-old-aged people. Proof that we have an aging population! Do not question this logic. LB Day two yielded a kitty cat and even more fun - working with old people is really meaningful because they're sweet and mumbly and loving! ((: With Tessa Wig Shiting Lynn JT Jingyi Zhiqi this time :D SUPER FUN BUNCH! We took photos and played with Jingyi's camera's color swap function while the old people were watching their Andy Lau movie haha omg cuuute <33 IT WAS FUN because me and vongst were being scandalous on the couch and JT was just being Very Scandalous and then everyone got tired and flopped around and ZHIQI WAS ASLEEP HAHA ethanyn lim STOP POKING MY BOOBS PLEASE. I took attendance for the old people! Felt bad that I couldn't recognize their names bahhhh and Tessa Vongst and I reached late so the rest had to make sandwiches for the old peoples' breakfast first. ZHIQI + CHOPPING KNIFE = mildly intimidating. After it was done we all traipsed around forlornly and I went for lunch with Zhiqi! At golden chicken hahahahahahah.
Today I am talking to Charis about threadless tees omg + ordering. EXCITEMENT! Never ordered shirts online before but def looking forward to it :D YAY heeeheeeeeeeee london shirtzzzzzzz
