Mardi Gras 2008
I took a couple of pictures of my cassowary costume before we left the house on Mardi Gras day. Being the world's deadliest bird was awesome fun. We decided there should be a krewe of flightless birds next year so that Dave has an excuse to finally get a penguin costume too.

Mardi Gras 2008 = endless party in the Dervish lady's room. Much debauchery was had. I'm not sure exactly all of what I ingested or who all I touched or made out with. I think I remember most of it though.
A few more pictures from the day... we didn't make it to the Quarter until about 3:30pm because Dave busted his ass during the Noise Parade on Lundi Gras night. We're still on the lookout for more pictures... I totally dropped my camera on the ground while taking pictures of the cops clearing off Bourbon Street at midnight and now it won't work properly anymore. Suck.
