CLASS C COUNTY CHAMPS!!!!!
wooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! today was amazing. im so glad i didnt just say fuck the meet.
i overslept, and woke up after the bus was supposed to leave, but i just got ready really fast and went up to the school. the bus was luckily still there, so i got on and we ended up waiting longer for a few other ppl. so then we left and got to the meet really early. i ended up studying for AP world for most of the beginning of the meet with francesca. then me and schmid went over to shotput. we noticed that croton decided not to show up to shotput, so that just made things even better for me. no crazy 41' guy that wouldve kicked my ass!! ok so it turns out that me and schmid are the 2 highest seeded guys in class c, and we were 2 flights above the closest class c guy. i got a PR, 32' 1 3/4'. that was enough to give me FIRST PLACE IN CLASS C!!!! ahhhhhhh, im so happy. i finally medaled....and it was a gold medal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! schmid got second place. so then me and schmid go back and watch the rest of the meet. westlake was trailing bronxville the entire meet. we were down by 18 when we came back. so i watched the relays. 4x2 and 4x4 did really well. bliss is too fucking fast lol. so im waiting for a while for the shotput to finish up so i could get my medal, but it was taking too long. so me and benvin go over to the table and we get there just in time to see him put the 1 on my card. ahhh, it was awesome. so we go back to the scoring table and wait for them to bring the shotput cards over, and we met up w/ gino there. by that time, the relays were counted, and all that was left was shot and high jump. we checked how far we were behind- 9 points. gino said he won high jump and that no1 from bronxville placed, and bronxville got 3rd in the shotput. that wouldve put us ahead by 3 points(first place was 5 points, 2nd was 3, and 3rd was 1; so 5+5+3-1=12 points we gained on bronxville). so while every1 else is packing up and heading to the bus, me, benvin, and gino were waiting for the results, and it turns out we were right!!!! WE WON THE CLASS C COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!!! ahhhh, yet another plaque to raise. it was awesome. i cant believe we actually won it, especially w/o josh. but we all pulled together and beat bronville. im so happy. now im sitting here attempting to do my mystery project and looking at my brand new gold medal. i finally got one. XD
