jumping into upper -level art history course?

Last semester I took a survey in art history and I wanted to take another this fall as an elective. Although I am a senior majoring in the humanities, my experience in art history is limited to the one introductory survey I took this spring (mostly consisting of freshman).  The only art history course I will be able to take this fall is a topic that really interests me, but it's a course designated for juniors, seniors, and graduate students; so, I'm worried I might be in over my head.

Does anyone have any advice for challenging courses in art history?  What can I expect?
