[Lyn is out in a clearing in the middle of the forest, with her journal set aside. It seems to have opened without her knowledge. She has Sol Katti out, and she's brandishing it at a fairly large rock nearby.

As she stares at the rock, currents of electricity start to form around the blade, and Lyn actually seems to crackle a little.]

That was from the lightning spirit, Tsinku. I used it's power to enhance my sword.

[She tilts the journal to show her blade, crackling with electricity.]

M-most people use guns for fighting in my world...and sometimes other things.

Rena learned how to use a cleaver I found a few years ago...but that's all.

Oh! Um...Rena doesn't really know how to explain it. They are like metal tubes that shoot things at really fast speeds! I'm sure they kill very fast...

Yeah! I didn't really mean to...I started using it to cut things out of the rubbish mounds and somewhere along the way I got good at it!

Yeah! They are big heaps of things people don't want anymore. Most people think it's just junk but...
