A question for the computer wizards out there...

Because of those never-to-be-sufficiently-damned-scum-sucking-bastards at Sony I've attempted to disable the autorun feature on the CD-ROM in this Windows XP machine. I did so using the Computer Associates Registry Patch and verified manually that the value of autorun is set to Zero.

But still, the damn thing autoruns everything I feed it. Any

After a quick search on Annoyances.org, Turn Off the CD-ROM Autorun turned up. That article referred me to TweakUI, part of the Microsoft Power Toys collection.

I downloaded it, did as instructed, rebooted, shoved the HP Scanner Driver disk in the CD drive...

THE COMPUTER IGNORED IT!!! Woo Hoo!
