My name is uplinktruck and I am addicted to Cops.
That would be the reality television series Cops. I used to think it was missing my EMS days or even chasing local beat news with a camera. But a comedian on the XM Radio Comedy Channel (150) explained it to me. Allow me to paraphrase: "People like to watch cops. I like to watch cops. It makes me feel better about my life. When you watch a cross dressing crack dealer wearing a flowered muumuu and bright orange foam curlers get tossed across the hood of a police car on national TV, your life just doesn't seem all that bad.
Too bad I didn't get the comedian's name. He was very, very funny.
We must never forget our cops are on the front lines in the war on crime, fighting drug dealers and protecting our homeland.
