SO last post of 2007. Go me. Christmas was fun, nephew adorable, my gifts rocked the shizz, somehow left out of Secret Santa gift circle tho (?) but nevertheless got genuinely good presents from the 'rents so the Curse of the Overlooked Hamill somehow didn't hit me that hard, as it has on some occasions. Things have, however, slowed down considerably, and I need to do more than sit on my lardimus maximus soon or I will go a bit crrrraaaazy. I guess that's why I'm going to New York.
Sigh, the list that I like to privately call the Determining What I'm Going To Do For The Rest Of My Life For Ever Ever Ever Though Probably Not Really List slowly continues to grow as I watch other actually serious people do fun things like get jobs or get into grad schools. Need to work on that.
Okay, so it is a little known fact that I can and do occasionally wig out over numbers and statistics, despite my horrible lack of skills in the math department. Maybe that's why I like politics. ANYWAYS, I have an account over at last.fm (real website, true story) which tracks the music I listen to on my computer/iPod, how often, what the artists are, etc etc. The other day I unwittingly left my new music playlist on, which consists mostly of this neat Belgian/Congo artist named Zap Mama that I (surprise) found recently, and jacked up the playcounts of each of her songs to like.. 30 something. Which naturally, throws all my statistics outta whack.
And somehow, I worried that people would know. OH! Now they do. Go me.
I don't know why I found that at all amusing
