David is a one big mess - he was involved in a bad car accident - resulting in the following injuries: two broken hips, broken arm, broken collar bone, one leg nearly amputed, other leg shattered, and I'm sure I'm forgetting something. He was in the hospital 3 months & nearly died 3 times total. All the injuries have taken a major toll on his body & after 12 years all his joints are shot & nearly everything healed back improperly. His back is a result from walking incorrectly, nerves pinch, some were severed & so on & so forth. There is MUCH more I'm leaving out.

But anyway, he has done a pretty good job of mentally blocking most of it for the last five years - no pain meds work anymore, he pops them like candy & yes he's tried alternatives. I saw this coming in November that he wasn't coping anymore. Apparently some of the nerves, muscles, joints, I'm not sure what are also now causing massive headaches and he was beginning to not be able to function. One of our good customers who is a dentist gave David a referral to this doctor. So he had made one appointment & it helped, then the headaches started - he went to the doctor - & the doctor told him after feeling around - you have a headache don't you - and he shot him in the neck area - headache GONE - then did some more work on his back. Then unfortunately the holidays hit & as you can tell looking back David had a meltdown. I'm a former RN & as you probably already know a BIG softy at heart. So I've got David crying & in massive pain - then a sick cat. I had caregiver meltdown. Because trust me taking care of David is sometimes a fulltime caregiver job. That night I freaked on the journal I just wanted SOMEONE TO FEEL BETTER!

But now we are back to the doctor & of course this is going to take a while - but the doctor said - I don't prescribe medications - I fix the problem. So finger's crossed. Thanks for asking. And this is the Reader's Digest version 8^)

Kitty is fine. The vet (small town here remember) couldn't actually find anything wrong with him but put him on preventative antibiotics since he had been having symptoms for a few days. When I dropped him off, I kinda started crying to docs wife (caregiver meltdown), she called me later that day & said let us keep him tonight for free - you go take care of your husband. Angels!!!
