What work were you interested in. Thalassa-chan?

[She makes a little face and thinks for a few seconds.]

I don't know. I thought that work would be fun, but I wanna have a job! I don't wanna not help.

[Crow just nods. Fair enough, as far as he is concerned.]

Does anything in particular interest you?

[She has to think about that, and she kicks her legs a little.]

Adventuring sounds fun, and I like animals.

If you believe you can handle yourself in combat, or discover you can, the adventurers might turn out to be suitable for you.

If not, the farm is generally safe. And there are certainly plenty of animals both there and at the stables.

I don't think I have any superpowers, and I don't think I like fighting.

[And she brightens up a bit.]

Do they have horses and cows and goats and chickens and stuff?

Then it would perhaps be best to only ask the adventurers toaccompany you if you go down to the Wilderness, instead of joining them.

As to those, yes. And quite a few other creatures, chocobos, griffins, the like.

You mean kinda like holding somebody's hand when you cross the street? I guess I'll ask somebody to go with me.

I don't think I've ever seen a chocobo before! What's it look like?

[Odd concept to him.] Perhaps. The wilderness is easy to get lost in if you are alone. It would be best if you took a professional, or myself or Daitou-kun, with you if you venture down there.

A chocobo is a like a very large chicken with a long neck.

[And the third member of the trio comes wandering back in, grinning cheerfully and hands full of pastries wrapped in napkins.]

Ne, the place near here has pretty good food! I brought some back, too.

[The sight of the two of them sitting next to each other on the bunk talking gets a curious glance from him.]

What are you two talking about?

Crow was just telling me about job and Chocobos! They're like chickens.

[She held out her hands to Daitou, nodding to the pastries.]

Can I have one?

/chucks a pokeball

[Crow nods to Daitou as he entes.] Daitou-kun. Unlike chickens you can ride chocobos, for transportation, races, etcetera.

[coughcoughshank]

Those sound like rather big chickens!

[He fishes some pastries out and hands them over]

And of course - I did bring them back for you. Would you like some too, Crow-san?

[She blinks up at Crow, a wide grin on her face.]

Do you think that I could ride one?

[And she takes the pastries, taking a bite of one. Her mouth is a bit full when she talks.]

Indeed. [Crow shook his head at Daitou's offer, declining silently.]

I am sure you could, Thalassa-chan. They are rather friendly birds.

[coughcoughshank]

[A little grin for his older brother.] You sure? I did bring plenty.

[And to the conversation as whole-] Where do the giant chickens live, anyway? Farms or something? [Not that there was much space for that, here, but...chickens living on a farm was the logical line his mind drew.]
