texas was all kinds of amazing. jo and her family are the sweetest things in the whole of this giant country. it's seriously my home far, far away from home.
her mum even got me a bottle of vodka that is as big as i am!! it was incredibly sexual. i'd post a picture... but jo has them all. i wish i wasn't so dumb and stuff. i think i forgot everything. bestest game of 'scene it' even if i sucked hardcore. batman and robin forever and ever. plus, snuggles. i miss it already.
jenn is adorable. she appreciates the 'i pooted' billboards and she makes porn in jo's bed. stephen in hillarious. especially when he's rolling on the hood of the car trying to clean the windows at some crazy time of the morning when we're all half dead driving home from austin. elin laughed at me getting totally molested by the security when we were heading back to l.a. not nice.
we hit up our first warped tour there. heaven. umm.. senses fail, thursday, anti flag, the academy is, afi, underoath.. *mental blank* everyone was amazing.
the next night we road tripped it to austin for the brand new show. such cuteness. awh.
mel and i hired a car when we got back to l.a.. but they were out of mid-size so we're pretty much owning the pants off l.a in our chrysler town and country. it's masssssive. mel is a soccer mum. haha.
we drove it out to pomona for the warped there. bestest. omg. we repped the aussies so hard during the living end. holly, where were you? haha. lets hear it for singing and dancing like dickheads. so much so that a guy came up to us on the way out and goes "dude, you guys rock HARD!" haha.
tai were gorgeous again.. somehow scored myself a setlist and got it signed after. the boys were enthralled by everything i had to say cause of the accent. haha. they peed their pants when i said i was from aus and got all "omgggg... we wanna go there soooo bad." and touched me a whole bunch more. spooge. totally adorable. i even chatted to them about tam. they were all sad cause i had a rant about how she should have been there. haha. they said thay'd make it up when they toured there tammeh. so prepare. ♥
saw SF again.. plus they did an acousic set later. buddy is insane. but in the most amusing way possible. it was cute. i tried to call tam again for lady in a blue dress.. did it work?
managed to catch the 18 visions set too, it wasn't quite as good as when they played at the unibar, but still amazing. walked right into james after. oops. he's rediculously cute though and stopped to chat.
after warped, we took our pimp mobile and cruised down sunset and then rodeo drive. drooled big time. haha.. channel and TWO gucci stores. yeah. i plan on shopping there and getting kicked out of stores due to my lack of money.
ozzfest was the next day. holy shit. sexsexsex. you have no idea. it was so HOT. like, i'm all crispy now. haha. not red. just overly brown. and i sunburned my bottom lip (moron, i know.) so it's kinda puffy and darker pink then normal. haha.
norma jean, bleeding through, unearth, dragonforce - A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. ahh. it was so great. but. omgz. atreyu. nothing is better. they're friggen amazing. and alex playing in nothing but boardshots didn't do much to help me cool off.
after their set they signed my copy of deathgrip and i've never wanted to moosh a bunch of dudes more. they're such sweethearts.
LEIA!! important. read this. now. bran (who looked super cute in his sunglasses with pink diamonte hearts) said that they're touring aus like, aug/sept!!! fuckingmotherfuckershit. i better be back for it. haha. and if i am.. roadtriiiip! deal?
avenged broke my little heart.. due to a fucking blackout in the middle of their set, they had to cut a bunch of songs. *sob* the ones they did play though, were insane. the set up they had was totally crazy. with smoke machines and lights and ramps around the drums and a giant deathbat and changing backdrops. mikey should have been with me please. though, during the blackout the crowd decided to get restless and start riots. haha. lighting bins on fire and throwing shit and it was scary. luckily, i survived. and drank straight whiskey with a stranger.
cris got here yesterday, which ruled. i thought she wasn't getting here till tuesday. she accosted me in my p.j's. good times.
us girlies hit up ihop for lunch and chilled the rest of the day. i think we're heading down to the oc today.. and we have reserved tickets to see pirates at the massive fancy theatre on hollywood tomorrow night, then it's warped again at dodger stadium on wednesday.
plus! i got good news from jo and it seems as though i get to see her before i go home! YAY! and.. it's possible that i'm going with jamie to see h20 play at cbgb's in ny sometime in august. holyhell. too much greatness.
yeah. i'm totally stoked on life right now. though, as incredible as things are, it just makes me miss you guys more. when i get to vegas i'm winning millions of dollars and i'm flying every single one of you over here so you can just.. experience it with me and smother me with cuddles. okay? so get your passports ready.
