Farmer Wants a Wife: Where Are They Now?

Oct 07, 2009 15:57

Many moons have passed since we last heard from the McDonalds, and I think it's high time we checked back for a look see, no?

So, we now turn the reigns one of the McDonalds to tell us what's been going on.

"Hi! So you wanna hear about my family? Well, the best way to tell you about that is to show you all the pictures hanging in our dining room. Seriously, they're everywhere!"

"This is the first one. This is on Mom and Dads' wedding day."

"They got married in the local chapel soon after my dad proposed. Mom wore Dad's great-great grandmother's own wedding dress, though I have to say it's a little on the frumpy side. I still thought it was sweet, and Mom said she grinned and bared it."

They tell me the reception was a blast, and Mom also mentions how she took out the frustrations of tulle on the dance floor.

"Although, Dad said there were some odd people who showed up."
Wedding Crasher: "Let me give you some advice, my man. As long as your boat is big, you guys will do just fine."
David: "Who are you again?"

"All in all, it was a day well worth remembering."

"It wasn't long before they had company, and it was us! That's me in my mom's arms, and that's my brother Edgar with my dad. He had some really weird skin deformity as a baby, but luckily he grew out of it."

"That's us again, as toddlers. Of course I was an angel, but Edgar was a little more unruly. Mom took to being a housewife well, and gave up fashion to be better fitted for the job. I think she slightly resented it, though. And even though we didn't know it yet, there was a fifth person in the picture!"

"He we are a longgg time later, with Edgar and me as kids, and our little brother Warren. He was a rambunctious one, always playing and stuff. And Mom's holding our new baby brother, Clark. He's so cute!"

""That's me and Edgar, in our teen years, and that's Clark on the right, he's grown into a kid as well. See Warren being silly? The photographer never liked him. Mom's gained a little weight by then, but she's happy with her rural life. And there's the final set of twins, finally some sisters! Mom's holding Abigail and Dad's got little Kimmie."

"And here's the final family portrait- this was only taken a couple days ago. Mom and Dad are a little more distracted these days, I think it's there oncoming senility. Warren and Clark are both teens now, and Abigail and Kimmie are adorable kids.

"But what's going on now you ask? Well, a lot can change over a couple of days."

"My Twin Edgar is a brainy kid, but he's motivated most by money. His mantra is study hard so you can make bajillions of dollars later. But he has been a little distracted lately..."

"This poor girl from school, Anne Piper (dothesmustle) keeps getting booty calls from Edgar. Thankfully she never shows, that would be wildly inappropriate!"

"Then there's Warren. He was off the wall as a kid, but now he's tuned it down to a chill teen."

"But he's still very playful, always challenging anyone who sits still for 2 seconds to a game of punch-you. Warren definitely enjoys the small Pleasures of life."

"Then there's Clark. He was always kindof a shy kid, but once he hit teendom he bloomed. A true Romancer, he dyed his hair to show how 'different' he was than the rest of his farming family. Clark also thinks it makes him more attractive to the ladies, as well as his 'artistic side'."

"Although if that's his style of art, I think only Picasso would be impressed."

"This is our dog Belle. She's a sweet girl, the puppy of our elder dog Arf. Everyone calls her 'Two Face', for obvious reasons."

"Our farm is doing very well, especially with all us kids taking care of it. We even expanded and got a barn! We now have a horse named Pippa. She's a sweet old nag."

"Mom and Dad are thriving, they love having all us kids around. But they also do very much enjoy their alone time, where they 'talk'.

"Yup, everything's pretty normal on the McDonald farm, but not for long! Kimmie and Abigail are both having a birthday soon!"

"We decided to keep it in the family, since there's so many of us anyways."

"I always love the fireworks on birthdays."

"Abigail grew up beautifully, and decided that Family was an important value to her."

"Kimmie was always the most reckless of the two, so it was natural that Pleasure was her defining trait.

"So there we all are. All us kids are now teens, but only one of us can inherit the farm. Apparently however does gets to be in some kind of challenge- I heard Mom and Dad met during one of these, but they never really talk about it. Anyway, here's a final look at all six of us:"

"Kimmie, the youngest and wildest McDonald...

... Abigail, the sweet McDonald...

... Clark, the Casanova (?) McDonald....

... Warren, the playful McDonald....

... Edgar, the moneybags McDonald....

... And finally, me! Matilda McDonald, the oldest and smartest McDonald, who hears tell her Sim!God really, really wants her to inherit the house!"

So, who shall it be? You know you wanna vote.
