Meet Kate Clark: My Sims 3 Experience

So, after deciding I wasn't interested in the Sims 3, I finally caved a few weeks ago once I decided there probably was good CC resources to be had. So I got it. I started playing, and OH MY GOODNESS it's so much fun. I'm glad I gave it a chance. I don't think I'll do anything too serious with my game for now (unless the new GOS challenge counts as 'serious'), but I'll probably occasionally post pictures from my wanderings.

So my first experience with the Sims 3 is the following:

Kate Clarke, a Hopeless-Romantic/Handy/Lucky/Technophobic/Bookworm. She loves Lilac, Classical Music and Pancakes. Her dream is to become an Illustrious Author, reaching Level 10 in both Writing and Painting. A darling after my own heart :)

I forgot to screencap my initial wanderings with Kate Clarke, being so mesmerized with the SHINY. But I can give a bit of a re-enactment for ya.

Kate met Jared Frio at the Library, and because I wanted to see how social encounters worked he looked so suave while lazily relaxing in an armchair reading "What to Expect when Expecting," Kate introduced herself.

Kate soon learned Jared had a love for cooking, and they shared cooking tips all through the evening. Their relationship quickly escalated, and it wasn't long before they were 'going steady.'

But soon Jared's true side began to reveal itself as a mean-spirited, hot headed type. Kate tried to look past this, but some days were harder than others.

Kate quickly got a job at the local paper, and realized one of her co-workers was Jared's introverted loner brother, Connor Frio.

Being a sucker for men in trenchcoats, Kate began to wonder if her choice in Jared was a good one. Jared certainly had passion, but she was getting the feeling he was more of a jerk then she let herself believe. Connor was such a sweet, kindhearted person.

A sexy, oh-so-kind person.

She soon realized with Connor's help that her and Jared where going nowhere. She needed to break it off with her boyfriend.

The break-up didn't go too well, as expected.

But Kate now was guiltless as things progressed with Connor.

Jared soon found a new interest in a local girl named Madison, and moved out of his and his brother's place to move in with her.

Soon Connor and Kate were married, and were quickly expecting a new addition to the household.

Writing was apart of their daily lives if making a solid living for their kid was going to be possible, or their future dreams. Connor's LTW is to reach the top of the Journalist Career. Which is interesting, since he's a Loner/Unflirty/Good/Bookworm.
