Today was.....
OMG today was plain out ridiculous! well to start my day i have the wonderful time of getting up and dressed for school, thinking i am good and on time, so i check what time it is and BAM in my face the numbers 7:15 so i am like MOM..... WHAT TIME IS IT???? shes liek 7:15, and so to make a long story short i obviously didnt make it to school ontime, which was actually ok cuz i wasnt feeling that good , but i did end up going later. ok but that isnt even nothing just a part of my "ridiculous" day.-
April came home with me, and Jessica was at her moms, so we thought it would be cool if we all hung out before church @ jessicas, so we talked about it to jessica on the phone but we didnt really make it 100% clear that we were coming , so me and april get dropped off at jessicas, and my mom leaves, so we knock on the door and ring the door bell....for like 10minutes! and so then its apparant no one is home-plus the cars were gone but we thought jessica was @ home alone, well it turns out she isnt, and so me and april are locked outside the house in the freeeeezing cold, we have a handy cell phone to keep us company, but we were going to wait for aprils mom to get us, so i see aprils violin and im like since were stuck out in the cold make it better by playing some music, so she gets out her violin and starts playing in the middle of jessicas sidewlak it was sooo funny u had to be there! so right then jessicas car pulls up but its only her step dad inside, and we find out jessica and her mom went somewhere and shoudl be back in a while, and so he lets us in the hosue and he has to leave, so then aprils mom picks her up,and so im liek ill stay until jessica comes back, so april leaves theni realize what if they dont come back and go straight to church cuz they dont know i m here? so i called my mom to pick me up, but after i called my mom i talked to jessica and told her everything
so i just got picked up by my mom and we went to church, but we left close to being late but we could still get there on time, that was before this stupid train decides to cross the road and we are stuck there for like 10mintues so of course we were late, but this may seem a bit retarted, but that train was actually a blessing-in disguise of course- but by being forced to sit there it made me realize how caught up i get in my life and how i am always rushing to get somewhere or do something, which takes away my focus and time with God, -Which reminded me of the verse in 2 Corinthians 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporary; but the things which are not seen are eternal
i tend to focus alot on the things that are temporary that only exist now and not for eternity, I then have to ask my self is it better to gain the world and loose your soul? OF COURSE NOT so if i want to make it i need to keep looking toward Christ-
Hebrews 9:28 ... and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
so after that train went through i passed those railroad tracks with a new perspective for my life!
