tallahassee life certainly treats one well. things have been amazing since i got here. its only been a week and already there's too much to write. i lucked out and my room mate is awesome, enough like me to get along perfectly, but different anough to be interesting and not hate each other. we may have been seperated for a total of 2 hours between the time she moved in on monday and yesterday when classes started. there are amazing new friends to be found everyday and everywhere i go, even doing laundry in the basement or just walking across our green, which has by far been one of my favorite things-swimming and sunning on the green RIGHT outside my dorm. theres always some pickup volleyball or frisbee or football going on and a multitude of shirtless boys. i spent most of the last week going to our free movies, loitering around our common rooms and making friends, hitting the free gym, and checking out the res, where i kayaked with cute boys. i also went to a genuine skeezy frat house saturday. life is sweet, and classes certainly aren't preventing anything cool from happening. italian every morning is awesome, except for the morning part, i'm so glad i decided on that one. another highly potnential chick friend sits right in front of me. my art history professor is amazing, i think i'll love that class so much. i went to a humanities class yesterday which i promptly dropped, it seemed lame among other things. it also helped even out my schedule, as i now picked up physical anthropology and prehistory, with lab, where i will be playing with skulls and bones and learning from the man who wrote the textbook. he's my professor. honors colloquium is as boring as i thought it was gonna be. the dining rooms are awesome and i have been taking full advantage of my unlimited meal plan, yeah yeah yeah. in 45 minutes i'm off to anthro and then to check out my beat class...i'm soooo excited. so again, things are cool, i hope everyone might enjoy this as much as me. i will be in gainesville this weekend for a labor day extravaganza at casa de gezzar and valentine, including my 19th birthday bash because i miss everyone soooo much and at least i can catch a lot of you there and catch up on the last two weeks. because, to be said, theres always some homesick and nostalgia.
