(no subject)
I got my haircut yesterday. I was quite proud of it because she had styled it magnificently. But today, it looks the same as always, just shorter. It's easier to take care of at least!
I went to Jay's house tonight. He's been mysteriously extra sweet to me lately. Perhaps it's because Valentine's Day is coming? Not sure. I'm not complaining....I'm just curious.
Hung out with Chuck last night. I meant to go to Best Buy to look for a killer amp but, we coudn't find it lol. We both had only been to it once so our memory failed us. Anyway, we walked around the plaza. I bought some pins from Hot Topic for $1 each. They went to charity, plus new flare on my name tag for work is always a good thing to me. They have these Willy Wonka glasses and goggles! I wouldn't wear them but, they were pretty cool to toy around with.
Then we headed over to Newbury Comics. I found a Maiden pin there. Nothing spectacular....it just said Iron Maiden in red. But I had to have it anyway. This pin is not even the size of a quarter and they wanted $2 for it. So I said "fuck this..." and I took it. I know, bad Holly. I shouldn't steal. But hey, I have an obsession....and that is Maiden, but I'm certainly not going to pay $2 for a little pin where you can barely read what it says. I have about 40 others that are much cooler with Eddie on them \m/
Snow tonight! We're supposed to get 15+ inches I heard. This is good for me. I know most of you must be dreading it, but I don't have to go to work. And even though it's time and a half...I really don't care. I worked FULL shifts 6 days in a row last week because of inventory and worked on my day off....the extra money for Sunday really isn't bugging me too much. I just want an extra day to myself.
Jay's boss gave him a short run on Valentine's Day!! YAY!!! This means he'll get out around 2pm. He's got something planned for that day. He won't tell me what...all he said was he was taking me out to dinner to my favorite place and he is going to make that day so special to me that I will cry tears of joy. I'm excited. I got him a bag full of stuff. Candy of course, a giant velvet rose, a fake fabric rose, a chocolate rose, 2 little puppies with those magnet lips so they're kissing, a little chinese box with chocolate in it, a stuff dog....and I think that's it for now. Oh and a card. I noticed tonight the bear I got him for our anniversary wasn't on his shelf. He said it was in his sister's room, but his sister moved out. I was kinda offended...but he still has the little fake flowers that the bear was holding and the Pats mug with his name engraved that I also got him. Hmm...
I'm thirsty...I need a Mountain Dew.
