I think that my alcohol levels were subject to a complete battering, sadly, for I had two glasses of wine, a small rum and coke, and a can of lager (for this you may blame Charlie Weasley and Seamus, as getting me drunk seemed to be the highlight of my evening). Consequently, my apologies to all who had to listen to the barrage of terrace-based abuse, including and not limited to 'you're going home in a fucking ambulence,' 'we are the Millwall Haters,' and the old-time music hall song and anthem of West Ham United 'I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles.'
At least I did not remove any articles of clothing that would have shown that my underwear matched my rather esoteric choice of words and actions.
I must finish Lavender's twin sculpture, though the clay is proving tricky to carve and the kiln at the local arts centre (I unfortunately live in a small top-floor flat and therefore cannot afford or get a portable kiln into my living area) is on the blink. It will be completed, I promise.
Ernie, your mother's painting is completed and shall I bring it to you, or will you visit and we shall meander to the Prince of Orange for a meal and a bottle of wine?
Exhibition starting tomorrow. If anyone would like to come and see this - the title is 'Darkness, Beauty, and the Context of the Woman in Art' - it is on at the Hawarth Gallery, just off Regent Street in Muggle London. I'm not the only exhibitor and I am afraid that my offerings are not as beautiful as those of a more professional bent, but if you would like to come and see me, I'd be thrilled.
