i was a sophomore in high school. they opened up for yellowcard at a concert but before that i've heard about them before from other people. marrs is one cool homie.
haha I like the picture! I saw them at a concert as sohpomore in high school too, just not opening up for a band like yellowcard--it was in a really small venue.
A longggg long time ago. Brian was playing bass.. Yeah I dunno it was like junior year in high school I think. So, five years ago? -shrug- They played at my school durring lunch. Then I went to a show that weekend. It was rad.
Then Chris became awesomely rad to me.. and I fell in love with the band.. last time I saw Chris was the acoustic benifit show at Chain Reaction for the california wild fires. I miss Chris. I miss cali =/
ps. I bought new upsyndrome stuff the other night.. cause it's rad! <33
Heh yeah, that week really sucked. It consisted of me watching the news all day, looking for my address on the list of addresses of the houses that had burned down already...kinda depressing, but all's well that ends well, right?
Fullerton...makes me think of that Allister song.
Your grandma's car could have had a piece of my friends' house on it :P
man. the first time i heard up syndrome was around 5 or 6 years ago on this little broadcast television show produced by g. scott barrett that came on friday nights at midnight on like, channel 63 or something. it was called "are-oh-vee". it was cancelled a couple-a years ago.
anywho, it was their video for "drawing the line so slick". i fell in love. i used to e-mail chris way back when he'd answer as soon as possible.
i saw him the other night at chain reaction, and told him i saw him on "are-oh-vee", and he was like "holy shit!"

those wildfires were insane, so many of my friends lost their houses--my next door neighbor did. where did you live in CA?

WHOA! Next door neighbor?! So you were amoung the fires? That's insane!
I lived in Fullerton. My grandma's car was covered in ashes that had blown from the fires. It was sad. The benefit concert was fun though.
