sick sick sick sick sick
i am sick in portland, sick as of a few days ago... feverish and sore throated and just lazy and weak feeling. its sucks, my god. of course it's a virus and i just have to lay aroudn in bed until it wears off.
in other news my weekend has been very good... got into portland on friday evening and met parents, hung out with them and with my brother, had dinner at home... it was all very good. i missed m y family. and then i saw chan *becky was asleep, work!* and devorah and that was fun, i miss those kids in eugene.
then i woke up saturday with the whole 101 degree fever thing and shitty bobble-headed feeling. but its ok because the doctor gave me drugs and when i take then i dont feel anything and dont feel like doing anything but laying in bed waiting to get better... mom & i went shopping for clothes even though i was tired and it was fun, we havent done it in ages, i got new sandals and a few shirts and pants. all good deals...
my brothers party was pretty epic, the grandparents and uncles and whatnot, all showing up and drinking lots of wine and talking lots. my granpa said that i was becoming a man, he couldnt recognize me from week to week. my grandmas doted heavily. i felt loved. chan & becky came too. it was fun and the dinner my mom made was as usual awesome, as well as the 3 layer chocolate cake my gramma made, the old prize-winning cake... the presents were a hit i think, the chess set I made for brian, and the frog jokebooks.

anyway im staying here antoher day because mom care will get me well quicker than anything, i think i'll be comin back to eugene tommorow
