Things do change. Guess what changed for me? My living situation for next year. If you want to know details, call me and ask, but the punch line is that I'm now going to be living by myself, and I'm looking for a 1 bedroom or a studio apartment that's under $400 per month and close enough to campus to make that worth it. ok i wanna help!

no where near campus is under $400 a month for a studio. you may be ableto check out Varist Apartments, which i hear is around $450 or $475 a month, but then you are basically living in a closet and you share a bathroom with teh person enxt door. not that bad, really, but if you want your own place, you have to spend a bit more

my studio is small small small but im a small person so i dont need much space. i have enough room for a double bed and a couch, desk, tv, papason chair, and other things in my one little room. i pay $555 a month. plus electric and internet. but i dont have to share a bathroom with anyone.

the owners of my building own a bunch more on campus and near campus. check out their website at www.uofmhousing.com and they are really nice people. very smart and good to be living with. plus they have the CUTEST little girls.

but if you find you cant afford ot live alone, there are always places that have two bedroom apartments for liek $400 or $450 and they can try to place you with a roommate..... or find a sublease in a house...... those are always going to be less than having your own place.
