Well well
Long time no see peepz.
I've been motivated to do a post now that my girlfriend can start posting again, and no I didn't stop posting just because she couldn't but it was a factor. The main thing was the fact that my grandma passed away and I just haven't been in the mood since to talk about my life. However, now that Sarah is back in action, I figure it is time to stop whining like a little bitch because i'm not the only person that has ever lost a family member. In fact, I should be lucky because she died of old age (she was over 80).
Anyway, highlights shall we?
Gonna keep this brief. Basically, I missed an entire week of school because my grandma was burried in Tennessee so I had to go down there for the funeral. Not complaining, but a lot of what has gone on recently is related to that. I basically fell quite a bit behind in school, I had to take 2 tests (and 1 retake) when I got back. I scored all above 85% which is friggin amazing if you ask me. I played over a week of catch up (figures you miss a week and it grows exponentially). I dunno, when I first started college, I was lucky to get a 3.0. This last semester I made it on the dean's list (3.5+ gpa) and this semester I expect a 3.3+. I definately don't think my classes have gotten any easier, just more interesting. I'm glad I switched to CIS from ECE.
Anyway...I haven't been working as much but thats ok. The paycheck I got 2 days ago was only about 40 hrs (that is bi-weekly). That is a high paycheck. Not complaining about that either, I can't wait to rake in more money when summer hits.
I'm really tempted to find another job but I have it SO EASY where i'm at, for example. Today, guess what I did? I fixed this computer i'm typing on now, watched Family Guy, then watched Analyze That. Sometimes i'll play guitar. Don't get me wrong, I do my job when it needs me but right now i'm just not motivated to do a lot. When I start working more hours I can try to be more devoted. My main problem is, the job I have now isn't geared towards what i'm in school for. However, the bonus money and other things related to the job (like benefits) is crazy awesome. The hours go around all my schooling too. I dunno, I really like it.
Other recent (but not as important) changes:
- I love Verizon still.
- I got rid of my awesome ass desktop computer to get a nice laptop.
- I also got rid of my original laptop to help pay for the new one.
- The previous 2 are why I had to fix the computer i'm on now.
- I have started saving singles and not just change in my change bucket.
Not so much changes but current condition:
- I'm really hungry.
- I get to go to a movie with Sarah sometime shortly after I wake up.
- I have the rest of the week off.
- Mmm hmm.
- I'm not super scared about any of my finals (YESSS)
- My toe friggin hurts, it just started bleeding today (OUCH).
Alright i'm done, I need to do some stuff before I can head to the movie so peace out homies, sorry for the long post.
