It's been a while since I've posted
*My 10-year HS reunion is this Friday at the Ali Museum! I'm really excited about it, even though I hadn't made up my mind if I was going until a few days ago. It's strange- it really hasn't felt like 10 years have gone by. It's gonna be good to see old faces, relive some moments from Ballard, and catch up everyone that I lost touch with over the years!
*The new Senior Drum Corps in Louisville- Derby City Knights- are having tryouts next weekend and I'm ready. The director sent out the brass numbers yesterday and he was really surprised at how many folks signed up:
30 Sopranos
19 Mellophones
20 Baritones
16 Contras
That's an amazing number for ANY senior corps, much less a 1st-year one! Hopefully, if I make it, we'll put on a good show and make a little noise on the DCA circuit!
