Practice Field
It's frustrating when we work to get an entire halftime show on the field, BEFORE camp is over, only to lose rehearsal time b/c of rain. Out of the last 7 practices, we've had an actual marching rehearsal once. That sucks when you're performing at Carroll Co. (which is looking like it may get rained out) and Bands of America this Saturday. What I don't understand is how UofL's Athletic Department can build 2 athletics fields over the summer but can't fix our field (going on 3 years with the same problems- no lighting, no draining, and- this year especially- no grass. It would be nice to actually perform a COMPLETE halftime show... one that wasn't derailed b/c of a piece of crap practice field.
