I ended up raising about $150 for the wellness house and I ended up placing first in my age bracket! My times weren't great, but apparently they were good enough to get me first!
While Laurie and I were probably in one of our walking stints when this guy dressed as a bulldog ran in front of us... that was my goal, to beat the bulldog man. On the last turn into the final stretch I sprinted as well as I could to get in front of him, and I'm glad I did because I kept my lead on him!!!
