I just can't catch a break! D:

So Friday, I managed to tear the nail of my right (dominant) thumb halfway off (in trying to -not- fall on top of a couple of small children at work x.x), so it's a little difficult to do things, now. Hurts to type, because I use that thumb most often to press the spacebar (even though I just finished transcribing the latest update from my notebook for one of my characters' story yesterday X3). Hurts to write anything, because of how I have to hold the pencil (even though I did write a little bit in my notebook for said story Friday afternoon XD). Hurts to pick anything up. Hurts to open things. Hurts to do anything, really.
This is made of fail.
What I know I can't do yet is all of those papercut badges. x.x That demands a bit more pressure (cutting with the x-acto blade) than I'm willing to subject my poor thumb to. So that gets put off a little longer. *sigh* I may still be able to draw/sketch/ink/color, though, so that's a plus.
In other news, I have now officially seen (in order) all of the Alien movies, as well as both of the newer AVP movies. The first AVP was kinda fun, but the second was actually a little boring. >.>; Though that may have been because I'd seen parts of it on TV before. *shrug* Either way, I thoroughly enjoyed myself throughout the whole experience. Also, I now have a stronger base for writing this story I'm workin' on. Since the characters involved are at least part xeno. X3
Still have a long way to go with that story, though. I'm only halfway through the plot points I'd set out for myself when I started writing. And already almost 100kb in, too. (It's even a txt file, so there's no useless formatting from Word or anything taking up space in there.) @.@
Dray, I sure hope you're up for a bit of reading (or have enjoyed keeping up with the updates XD) by the time I get this thing finished!
Oky, I guess I'm done. Time to entertain myself. :3 *wander off to curl up with paper and pencil to sketch.. or something..*
