GWAH. >.<
So Lilu found her XP disk, and I'm all excited as I go to set up my new HD.
First off, the computer doesn't recognize the keyboard unless you unplug it and plug it back in at every startup. Which is annoying, as some of the things I apparently have to do include pushing buttons. >.> But I can get passed that. That's not much of a problem.
Unfortunately, the computer also apparently does not realize it has a CD drive. Or can't figure out what to do with the disk in it. *FACEPALM*
WHYYYYY???
Why do I keep getting this 'DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER' message? >.<
So I'm looking it up, and many other people have the same problem, but the answers they're getting don't help me at all, and I doubt they helped the people that were asking those questions, either.
Could it be my CD drive? Do I need a new one? o.O Is it hooked up wrong? It opens and seems to work properly, and the disk is fine, and I've gone into BIOS and set the boot order to CD, then HD so it'll boot from the CD, but I still get this message.
*flail* I'm running out of solutions, here.
