Did anyone happen to see the posters that have been put up around town advertising the Johto Fighting Tournament? I notice it says you are allowed to use weapons in this competition. I wonder what kinds of weapons people will have. I was under the impression that all weapons were illegal here?

It is something I have to try. I just have to decide what kind of weapon to bring. Some one suggested a ‘golf club’? And I have an idea… I might need to wait around at the Pokemon Center until one shows up but maybe it would work.

We would just need to find a trainer who has a Gloom. One brought one of those into the Pokemon Center in Violet city while I was working there.

Gloom are a kind of Pokemon that have a very powerful smell. If we can convince one of them to help us we could make stink bombs for the tournament.
